Hi!

I'm Alexa Bakony a Sundance DFP fellow and Berlinale Talents alumna director from Budapest, Hungary. My debut documentary, Colors of Tobi (2021), won the Hungarian Film Critics Award, the Mermaid Award at the Thessaloniki Film Festival and HBO Europe's Development Award. I'm currently working on my second feature, Highways of Hope.
